Can you walk with an Ilizarov frame?

Walking and weight bearing:

We will aim to wean you off your walking aid/s as soon as you are able (this is usually 6 to 8 weeks after the frame has been applied but is longer if you are carrying out corrections). Weight bearing is important as it stimulates the bone to heal.

Dr Sunil saini has an expertise in ilizarov surgey. He has been trained to give best to his patient.

Dr Sunil Saini had gone extensive training for deformity correction by ilizarov method- he had done his basic and advance course of deformity correction from Ganga ram hospital Delhi under guidance of Dr Dhawan and team.

Also he had completed course on SUV frame application under Dr.Solomon & team.
